Amir Khan Sums Up How Carl Froch vs Jake Paul Would Play Out Perfectly In Just 3 Words

Jake Paul and Carl Froch have been going back and forth with one another in a war of words for several months.

Froch is an outspoken former world super middleweight champion who often lays into many of the characters in the boxing world. He has previously fallen out with the likes of John Fury, father of former world champion Tyson, as well as Anthony Joshua who once shared the same coach as Froch in Rob McCrcaken.

Paul has become one of the most talked about men in the fight game in recent years thanks to his superb self-promotion. He has had just 12 fights in that time, and lost one of them to Tommy Fury, half-brother of Tyson, when the pair fought back in 2023.

Since then he has secured some more straightforward wins over the likes of Ryan Borland and Andre August, and most recently entered the ring with the former world heavyweight champion of the world, Mike Tyson.

Tyson is now almost 60 years old and looked every bit of his age. He was unable to throw many shots past the first minute and came off as the clear loser on points after eight short rounds.

In the aftermath, Froch took issue with the contest and sent a threat Paul’s way.

“Listen up Jakey boy. I’m 11 years retired, not done a round of boxing for over a decade, I’m old, grey, and out of shape… I’d knock you out in 30 seconds, you are USELESS.”

‘The Cobra’ recently spoke to former world titleholder and fellow Brit Amir Khan to ask what he thought would happen if the fight was made. Khan – who revealed that Paul and his manager have asked for a meeting with him – was clear in his prediction.

“You’d destroy him.”

Froch also suggested that the fight was scripted, along with other big names in the sport, though Paul’s promotional company, MVP, has come out strongly against the claims.
