Amir Khan Has No Doubt Who Wins Usyk vs Daniel Dubois Rematch: “I’m Sorry To Say It”

Amir Khan is confident he knows who will come out on top when Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois rematch this weekend.

These two heavyweights are the form men in the division. Usyk has not yet lost a professional fight and has become undisputed in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, while Dubois’s last three results have been the most impressive of his career, with knockout wins over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua last September.

The pair have already fought once back in August 2023, but Dubois was a much less confident opponent. That said, he did have Usyk down with an attempted body shot that was ruled low, but Usyk rallied and stopped the Brit inside nine rounds.

Speaking to Genting Casino, Khan outlined why he thinks Usyk will once again come out on top this weekend.

“Power doesn’t matter to him. Size doesn’t matter to that guy. He’s just a good overall boxer and knows how to use his hands. He will hit you with shots that you’re not going to see. And he then follows them shots up, so yeah, even if it goes to 12 rounds, I got Usyk winning that fight because Dubois’s going to try to pot shot him all the time. So I don’t give Dubois any chance, I’m sorry.”

If he does win, the Ukrainian could well choose to retire at the very top of the sport. If not, there are mandatory fights with the IBF’s Derek Chisora and WBO’s Joseph Parker to be dealt with, while Fury has also indicated he wants a trilogy next year.
