As top trainer Don Charles, also of Nigerian extraction, explains, this was more than just a trip ’home’ to see family and friends. It was instead a journey to ’find himself’ once again and achieve a degree of redemption ahead of Joshua’s crucial rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr.
