Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will take to the stage at Wembley Stadium on September 21.
The event – co-promoted by Turki Alalshikh‘s Riyadh Season, Queensberry, Matchroom and Goldstar – will see newly-crowned IBF Champion Dubois put his belt on the line for the first time after Oleksandr Usyk vacated.
The 26-year-old has scored two impressive stoppage victories over Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic, the latter of which got him into this position today.
It’s a chance to become only the seventh three-time heavyweight world champion in the sport’s history for Joshua, who is on a streak of four wins each more impressive than the last.
‘AJ’ will enter the ring a betting favourite, but Dubois will be confident he can snatch his chance at a changing of the guard on the British heavyweight scene.
If Joshua scores the 29th win of his career and Tyson Fury manages to avenge his loss to Usyk in December, fans will be closer to the biggest heavyweight fight in the world.
