Charlie Edwards returned from his first pro loss to become a world champion so is well placed to advise Anthony Joshua
Charlie Edwards knows all about the pain of defeat. He was crushed by Johnriel Casimero back in 2016, a world title shot that, in hindsight, came too soon.
Edwards quickly regrouped, learned from the setback and ultimately captured the WBC flyweight title he proudly holds today. So he seemed a sensible choice to impart some advice to his former GB team-mate Anthony Joshua, who suffered his first professional loss, to Andy Ruiz Jr, in June.
