Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk took part in their second heavyweight battle earlier this month.
Usyk was victorious during the first meeting back in May, and lightning struck twice as he once again came out on top by defeating Fury for the second time.
It was another tightly-fought 12-round clash, but all three judges scored it 116-112 to the Ukrainian as he retained his unified heavyweight titles by unanimous decision.
Fans have already began to debate what could now be next for both Usyk and Fury, as both men go in different ways with their respective careers.
Legendary analyst Teddy Atlas was ringside for their fight last week, and he has told his own The Fight With Teddy Atlas Podcast that he believes Usyk should now retire.
“If I’m Usyk I’d say walk off into the sunset. It’s perfect. You fought everybody you made a ton of money, you did everything, you represented your country, walk off into the sunset.”
While Atlas wishes that would happen, he thinks the Ukrainian will continue with his career.
“But it’s not going to happen. For various reasons. What we do know is he is great, he’s one of the greatest. He’s the heavyweight champion of the world.”
One potential option for Usyk could be a rematch with IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois. He defeated Dubois when they met in August 2023, but another victory would see the Ukrainian once again become undisputed.
As for Fury, all signs appear to point towards an all-British showdown with Anthony Joshua, and former world champion Carl Froch has given his thoughts on that potential battle.
