IBF lightweight champ Rances “Kid Blast” Barthelemy retained his title with a 12 round split decision win over former world titleholder Mickey “The Spirit” Bey at the Hard Rock Live Arena at the Seminole Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Friday.

IBF lightweight champ Rances “Kid Blast” Barthelemy, 25-0-(13), retained his title with a 12 round split decision win over former world titleholder Mickey “The Spirit” Bey, 22-2-1-(10) at the Hard Rock Live Arena at the Seminole Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Friday.

Bey received a gift of a knockdown in round two when Barthelemy hit the canvas after a head clash. The scores were 117-110 and 116-111 for Barthelemy, and a way out 117-110 for Bey.

On the same card bantamweight Emmanuel Rodriguez prospect score a 10 round unanimous decision over Alberto “Metro” Guevara the scores were 99-91twice and 100-90.

In a middleweight bout unbeaten Caleb “Sweet Hands” Plant took out Carlos Galvan with a left hand to in round four. The time of the stoppage was 1:24.
