Tony Bellew has just announced via his twitter account that he will face Junior Makabu for the vacant Cruiserweight title at his Goodison park on May 29th. Bellew has always dreamed of fighting at Goodison Park and now he will fulfill his childhood dream. Early this year Bellew starred in the Rocky franchise Creed where he played an undisputed world champion pretty Conlon.
The final fight scene in the movie was also set at Goodison park and Conlon played by Bellew retained his belt. Once again the scene is set for Goodison park and Bellew is hoping to walk out of Goodison park as the new Cruiserweight champion.
