Tony Bellew Didn’t Hesitate When Asked If Moses Itauma Would KO Tyson Fury Now

Tony Bellew has weighed in on a potential match-up between Moses Itauma and Tyson Fury.

Itauma has the whole boxing world talking with a string of impressive performances. He is still just 20 years old and holds a perfect record of 13 wins, with 11 coming by way of knockout.

He gets his work done early, too, with nine of those coming inside the first two rounds, including last time out when he took on former world title challenger and Fury for Dillian Whyte, stopping him inside two minutes.

Immediately after that win, the young star said he was ready to take on two-time undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk, though he is likely to be matched against someone lower down the ladder as he continues his journey. “And I know people will say that Itauma is a similar size to Oleksandr Usyk. But you’re talking about possibly one of the greatest boxes of this generation. You cannot compare Moses Itauma to Oleksandr Usyk. I don’t think you’ll ever be able to compare anyone to Oleksandr Usyk. This guy reigned supreme at cruiserweight, went all around the world defeating them, smacking everyone’s ass, including mine. He then goes to heavyweights and does the exact same again.”

Word is that Itauma is struggling to find opponents for his December return, with Jermaine Franklin and Filip Hrgovic both reportedly uninterested or
