Conor Benn is hunting down his first world title fight in 2026.
‘The Destroyer’ put on the best showing of his career last time out when he avenged his loss to long-time rival Chris Eubank Jr.
The first fight saw him compete well over 12 rounds but fail to really hurt Eubank, who used his size advantage and greater experience to see out a unanimous points win.
In the reverse contest in November, Eubank looked weight-drained and never got going, which left Benn to win just about every round.
Since then, he has called out or been linked with everyone from Devin Haney to Ryan Garcia and Mario Barrios, the WBC welterweight champion, though as yet as not locked in his next contest.
Speaking to Seconds Out, Northern Ireland’s IBF welterweight champion Lewis Crocker announced he was ready to fight Benn next year.
“Great win, much better than the first fight. And listen if Conor Benn wants a world title fight. I’m there, especially with Garcia and Barrios fighting each other. It’s an easy fight to make.”
He was then asked who he would like to face most out of Benn and British contender Jack Catterall.
“Jack’s a real fighter, so is Conor. Benn’s a much bigger name and much bigger appeal. My opportunities are endless at the moment. I’m the world champion, I want the biggest fights possible.”
