Artur Beterbiev is set to rematch Dmitry Bivol in early 2025.

They had a blockbuster showdown in October as the 175lb division crowned its first undisputed champion since Roy Jones Jr over 20 years ago.

After 12 hard-fought and extremely close rounds, it was Beterbiev that came out on top, defeating Bivol by majority decision to add the WBA belt to his WBC, IBF and WBO titles.

It didn’t take long for an immediate rematch to be demanded by fans, and it looks like they will get their wish and it is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia in February, with an official announcement imminent.

One concern has been whether it would be another undisputed battle due to confusion over if IBF belt will be on the line after the governing body installed Michael Eifert as their mandatory challenger.

Eifert has a record of 13-1, with his biggest win coming when the German travelled to Canada to defeat Jean Pascal by unanimous decision back in March 2023.

With Eifert seemingly waiting in the wings, Beterbiev has now revealed to Seconds Out whether or not all of the belts will be up for grabs.

“I think yes for all the belts.”

It isn’t the first time that the IBF have showed their authority surrounding undisputed fights, with Oleksandr Usyk losing his undisputed status earlier this year when he had to relinquish the IBF belt in order to fulfil the rematch with Tyson Fury.

As for Beterbiev, he has explained just why he recently decided to call out Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
