Boxing World Reacts To Callum Smith Beating Joshua Buatsi In 12 Round War: “Fight Of The Year”

Callum Smith came out on top against Joshua Buatsi in one of the best fights that boxing fans may see in 2025.

It was an incredible battle between the two light heavyweight stars, with neither man taking a step backwards throughout all 12 rounds.

A round of the year contender came when Smith nearly secured a stoppage in the sixth round after nailing his opponent with some massive punches, before Buatsi landed a huge shot of his own that rocked the Liverpudlian.

The non-stop action continued until the final bell, but in the end it was Smith who secured the unanimous decision verdict, with the three judges scoring it 119-110, 115-113, 116-112 in Smith’s favour.
