Unfortunately the Devin Haney vs. Jose Ramirez fight didn’t live up to expectations.
The two men met at Times Square in New York, but despite the glamorous setting, the action inside the ring was anything but spectacular, with barely any punches thrown throughout the 12 round affair.
In the end it was Haney that came out on top with scorecards of 119-109, 119-109 and 118-110 to win by unanimous decision, but there was little done to suggest to boxing world that he was back to his best following his fight with Ryan Garcia in April 2024.
