Hall of Fame inductee Tim Bradley has no doubt on who the best fighter that he ever shared a ring with was.

‘Desert Storm’ had an exceptional professional career which culminated in him capturing world titles at super-lightweight and welterweight respectively.

The California-native suffered just two defeats during his tenure, producing a number of legacy-defining victories over the likes of Ruslan Provodnikov, Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao.

Bradley actually shared the ring with Pacquiao on several occasions throughout his career, controversially defeating him via split decision when they clashed for the first time in June of 2012.

The Filipino great would go on to defeat Bradley in their second and third encounters however, although ‘Desert Storm’ would prove to be a tough opponent for Pacquiao and gave an outstanding account of himself in all three of their bouts.

Speaking in the post-fight press conference following their trilogy match-up in April 2016, Bradley spoke fondly of Pacquiao as he claims the Filipino icon is the best fighter that he has ever faced.

“The best that I’ve ever faced in the ring. He was super smart tonight. He was always one step ahead of me.”

It’s easy to see why Bradley came to that assessment, with Pacquiao widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time after becoming an eight-division world champion.

Pacquiao is in the process of finalising his next bout after he made a sensational return to the ring following a four year hiatus back in July, fighting to a draw against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.

Reports have suggested that the 46-year-old could go on to face reigning WBA world welterweight champion Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero next.
