Tim Bradley has heaped incredible praise on a current fighter by claiming he has the attributes of some of the biggest legends in the history of boxing.
Bradley is a two-weight world champion in his own right, having reigned at super-lightweight and welterweight and claimed wins over the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.
He has since become a successful analyst in the sport, and has now named the fighter that he believes has the ability of icons such as Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Floyd Mayweather, Marvin Hagler and Roberto Duran rolled into one.
It is extremely high praise, with each of the aforementioned names regarded as some of the best to have ever laced up a pair of gloves, but speaking on his YouTube channel, Bradley declared that two-weight undisputed champion Terence Crawford is the one worthy of that honour.
“Crawford is Ali. Crawford is Sugar Ray Robinson. Crawford is Mayweather too. He got Hagler in him, he got Duran in him, understand that.”
Crawford has spent over a decade at the height of the sport, beating fighters such as Errol Spence, Shawn Porter and most recently Israil Madrimov during that time.
Crawford will attempt to become undisputed in a third division when he moves up to super-middleweight to challenge 168lb king Canelo Alvarez at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on September 13.
Bradley has already made his prediction for that upcoming mega-fight between two of the pound-for-pound best stars in the sport, stating that he expects Crawford to ‘beat the breaks’ off Canelo.
