Former world champion Tim Bradley is certain he knows how the Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk rematch plays out this weekend in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
There are just hours to go until the world finds out whether or not ‘The Gypsy King’ can work out how to do something no man has ever done before in the professional boxing ring: beat Usyk.
The first fight between the two back in May was an engaging contest that lived up to the hype of the first undisputed battle in the heavyweight division for 25 years.
It was the Ukrainian who came out on top with a points win to claim all four belts and add that honour to also being a former undisputed cruiserweight champion.
This weekend the pair go at it again, although only for three of the belts as the IBF was relinquished and has since been picked up by Daniel Dubois.
Ahead of the big night out in Saudi, Bradley has spoken on his YouTube channel about Fury’s current form and recent showings after being dropped by Francis Ngannou last year and taking some punishment during a hard but ultimately victorious trilogy with Deontay Wilder.
“I think that Tyson Fury is done. I think his time at the very top has definitely expired, man. Judging by his last fight, his last few performances, those are indications that, you know, things are not the same. He’s on the decline.”
He then reviewed the first fight.
“In the Usyk fight he was doing well, got caught with a shot and went downhill. His stamina, I didn’t think I would see someone outlast Fury mentally and physically, that could be due to his preparation but I think it’s to do with his age. He’s damaged goods. I think he knows it.”
Finally he made his prediction.
“I’m going with Usyk man, I think Usyk by knockout. I think we’ll see a busier Fury but I think Usyk has trained and is ready for that.”
Both men have said they will carry on fighting regardless of the result, and were Fury to win, a third and final fight looks to be on the cards.
