The fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford continues to create a lively debate.

Canelo and Crawford will reportedly do battle later this year, with September in Las Vegas looking like the likely destination for the fight between two of the sport’s best pound-for-pound fighters.

It will see ‘Bud’ moving up two weight divisions from super-welterweight, following his successful 154lbs debut last August where he defeated Israil Madrimov to claim the WBA strap in that weight class.

Alvarez is the long-reigning unified champion at super-middleweight, having previously been undisputed in the division. He is yet to ever taste defeat at 168lbs, making it clear just what a tough task that Crawford will have ahead of him.

While most in the boxing world appear to have Alvarez as the favourite, two-weight world champion turned boxing analyst Tim Bradley appears to disagree, as he revealed on his YouTube channel that he sees a dominant victory for ‘Bud.’

“I woke up 3am and something told me to study Canelo and study Crawford. Crawford is about to beat the sh*t out of Canelo Alvarez. I’m letting you know right now. He’s about to beat the breaks off of Canelo Alvarez.”

Crawford will be hoping that Bradley’s assessment is accurate, as he looks to overcome Canelo and become just the third man to defeat the Mexican superstar.

Alvarez was defeated by Dmitry Bivol at light heavyweight in May 2022, nearly a decade on from his first professional defeat at the hands of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather at 154lbs back in 2013.
