Terence Crawford may well have a huge task ahead of him against Canelo Alvarez.

After a year of speculation, Crawford and Canelo reportedly agreed a deal to face one another after meeting separately with Saudi chief Turki Alalshikh in London over the weekend.

The fight will see ‘Bud’ attempting to move up two weight classes and do what no other man has done before by defeating Canelo at 168lbs.

Many fans feel that it will be an extremely tough challenge for Crawford, who has competed just once above 147lbs when he fought and beat WBA super-welterweight champion Israil Madrimov back in August.

Alvarez meanwhile has fought as high as 175lbs, and hasn’t competed at super-welterweight since way back in 2016 nearly a decade ago.

One man who has weighed in on Crawford’s chances is two-weight world champion turned boxing analyst Tim Bradley, and he summed up on his YouTube channel in just six words what he thinks ‘Bud’ will do to Canelo.

“He beats the breaks off him.”

Bradley’s view may surprise some, but he has explained exactly why he thinks Alvarez will suffer a defeat.

“I woke up 3am and something told me to study Canelo and study Crawford. He is about to beat the sh*t out of Canelo Alvarez. I’m letting you know right now.”

Another man that doesn’t seem impressed with the prospect of seeing the Crawford vs. Canelo fight is WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, after he made his thoughts perfectly clear and got into a war of words with ‘Bud’ on social media.
