Braehmer Returns Victorious/Fornling Wins A Thriller In Hamburg

Former world champion Juergen Braehmer, 50-3-(36), returned after a year out by scoring a fifth round tko win ove Pablo Daniel Zamora Nievas, 33-17-1-(19) Saturday night at the Sporthalle in Hamburg, Germany.

 

The 40-year-old Braehmer returned at super middleweight

 

In a heavyweight bout Christian Hammer scored a fifth round knockout victory over the previously unbeaten Michael Wallisch in WBO European bout.

 

At light heavyweight Sven Fornling out-pointed Karo Murat via 12 round unanimous decision. The scores were 116-109, 115-110 and 115-110. In a thrilling bout for the IBO light heavyweight title, both boxer hit the deck.

 

In a welterweight clash Sebastian Formella remained unbeaten by scoring a 12 round points win over Betuel Ushona for for something called the WBO “global” title. The scores were 109 twice and 117-111.
