WBC cruiserweight champ Mairis Briedis23-0-(18), scored a clear 12 round unanimous points win over Mike Perez, 22-3-(14), on Saturday night at the Riga Arena in Riga, Latvia.to reach the World Boxing Super Series semi final.
Briedis was cut over the left eye in the third round from a head clash in developed to be anything but a classic fight. Briedis produced the better work of the two and Perez was deducted a point for holding in the 10th round.
