Shannon Briggs Didn’t Hesitate To Predict Winner Of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk Rematch

There is not long to wait until we find out whether Tyson Fury has what it takes to beat Oleksandr Usyk.

No man in the professional ring has yet got the better of Usyk, no matter what division they have faced him in. The Ukrainian southpaw is a former Olympic Gold medalist who became the undisputed cruiserweight champion in 2018.

He then mirrored the feats of Evander Holyfield by moving up to the banner division to do the same and pick up all four major belts when he beat Fury back in May in their first match having also seen off the challenges of the likes of Anthony Joshua and Derek Chisora.

On December 21, Fury has the chance to avenge the one and only loss in his professional career. He admitted he took his eye off the ball in the first fight and has vowed to repeat what he did in his rematches with Deontay Wilder in that he will come and stop Usyk the second time around.

Usyk has laughed off those threats and is looking in terrific shape just two weeks out from this much-anticipated clash.

Speaking recently, former world heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs has had his say.

“Yeah it’s gonna be a tough fight. I think that [Fury’s] gunna be better prepared for this fight than he was in the first fight. If he wins there will be a third but it’s gone be a good fight. I’m looking forward to it.”

Fury has indeed said their should be a third fight if he wins, while if Usyk wins he could well look to once again go for undisputed honours and rematch current IBF king Daniel Dubois who he has already beaten once by stoppage.
