Scotland’s Dave Brophy (19-1-1, 3 KOs) produced the upset of the weekend so far by stopping world ranked super middleweight and previously unbeaten Zac Dunn (23-1, 18 KOs) in the seventh round to claim the Commonwealth title at the Melbourne Pavillion, Flemington, Victoria, Australia on Friday.
Dunn, who was ranked 5 by the WBC/IBF and WBO, was hurt a number of times with punches to the body. It was a left hook to the body in the seventh round that forced the referee to stop the fight.
