Frank Bruno Reacts To Conor Benn Dominating Chris Eubank Jr: “What Happened?”

British boxing legend Frank Bruno is the latest to have reacted to Conor Benn‘s impressive win over Chris Eubank Jr.‘s this past weekend.

This long-awaited rematch was completely different to the first fight between the two. That match back in April was a toe-to-toe battle with plenty of aggression from both men. It was an engaging 12-round war that was won by Eubank, whose natural size advantages worked in his favour, though Benn did much better than many expected.

This time around, at the same venue in London, it was Benn who dominated almost from the first bell. Eubank Jr barely landed a glove on his generational rival and was tentative throughout, with many suggesting he was too weight-drained to really impose himself.

Benn won just about every round and showed he can box smart when required to take the biggest win of his career.

In a new post on X, former world heavyweight champion Bruno expressed how impressed he was with ‘The Destroyer’ while recognising something was up with Eubank.

“What a fight, not sure what happened to Chris Eubank he was a shadow of his previous self, however lets not take anything away from Conor Benn he came to win and a masterclass ensured he did just that.”

It’s currently unknown what Eubank plans to do next following the defeat, but Benn is now expected to go after his first world title in the 147 division, with WBC champion Mario Barrios and WBA champion Rolly Romero named as potential targets.
