With only a few days to go, Carl Froch has weighed up the much-anticipated world title fight between Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker.

This heavyweight showdown comes on one of the most stacked cards ever assembled. At the top of it sits the rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dimitry Bivol, just four months after the first fight saw Beterbiev become the undisputed light heavyweight world champion after a narrow points win.

Just before that contest in September, Dubois truly announced himself as one of the best of the current crop of heavyweights by knocking out former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua inside five rounds at Wembley stadium in the UK.

Parker meanwhile has been on the best run of his career beating Deontay Wilder at the end of 2023 and then fighting back in June 2024 to outpoint Zhilei Zhang over 12 rounds despite being put down heavily twice during the contest.

The pair now do battle for the IBF world title with many seeing it as a contest that pits Dubois’s power against Parker’s more rounded boxing abilities.

Speaking on his own Froch on Fighting, ‘The Cobra’ only sees it going one way.

“I think Daniel Dubois is going to do the job. I think Joseph Parker is a great character, I think a lot of him as a character, I think he’s great, but this is boxing, I tell the f****ing truth as you know. Daniel Dubois is gunna demolish him inside the distance. I think it’s going to be a great fight.”

If ‘DDD’ does come out on top, he could well go into a rematch with Usyk who already beat him in August 2023, this time for the undisputed championship.
