Carl Froch Sums Up Mike Tyson Slapping Jake Paul Perfectly In Just 5 Words

Mike Tyson‘s slap of Jake Paul has people second guessing their predictions ahead of tonight’s fight.

Tyson and Paul meet over eight two-minute rounds at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas this evening, in an event broadcast live around the world on Netflix.

Heading into fight week, a lot of onlookers felt that ‘Iron Mike’ may find it tough to compete with Paul due to him now being 58-years-old, despite all of the success he’s had during his illustrious career.

Some opinions have changed though following Thursday’s weigh-in, where Tyson showed the ferociousness of old when he slapped his rival after Paul had stood on his foot.

Former unified super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch is one of those who is now questioning how things may unfold, telling his Froch On Fighting YouTube channel in just five words what he thinks the outcome of the slap could be.

“Jake Paul might be in trouble.”

Froch then revealed that while he still thinks Paul will win, he is now doubting his initial prediction.

“I think it’s scripted, I think Mike Tyson’s going to lose, but after watching him get his toe trod on and he gave Jake Paul a good slap around the old chops, it looked real didn’t it.

It looked like Mike Tyson reverted to type. The old fight, the old dog in the fight came out of him and he looked a bit annoyed. If he can do that tonight in the ring and lose the plot a little bit, Jake might be in trouble.”

All will be revealed when Tyson and Paul finally square off tonight, and boxing legend Evander Holyfield has given his take on the slap that ‘Iron Mike’ laid onto his opponent.
