Dennis Ceylan, 18-0-1-(8), won a 12 round split decision over British rival Ryan Walsh, 21-2-1-(10) to win the vacant European featherweight title at the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn, Denmark on Saturday.
Ceylanwas decked in the first round but recovered to score a 115-112, 115-112 score on two judges cards, Walsh was judged a 117-112 winner on the third official’s card.
