World Champion Targeting Both Shakur Stevenson And Gervonta Davis After Latest Win

A highly-rated world champion has welcomed future clashes with both Shakur Stevenson and Gervonta Davis.

Stevenson is in the process of finalising his own return to the ring after he defeated Teofimo Lopez to capture the WBO world super-lightweight title and become a four-weight world champion at the beginning of the year.

As for ‘Tank’ Davis, the 31-year-old from Baltimore has been inactive since he fought to a majority draw against countryman Lamont Roach Jr back in March of last year, but he appears to be in line to make a comeback before the end of 2026.

One man who is said to be open to future clashes with both Stevenson and Davis is O’Shaquie Foster, who currently holds the WBC world super-featherweight title.

The 32-year-old from Texas produced an impressive display against Ray Ford on Saturday night, defeating his rival by majority decision in what was the first defence of his world title.

Speaking in the post-fight press conference, Foster made it clear that he would be interested in locking horns with Stevenson and Davis as he looks to cement his status as one of the best fighters on the planet pound-for-pound.

“Shakur, Lamont, man whoever, whoever. Hitchins already ran away so I can’t get him but whoever they send at me, whoever they put in front of me, I’mma keep knocking them down until they say I’m number one … Oh I would love that [Tank] fight too, I would definitely love that fight. I’ll take that fight in a heartbeat, for sure.”

Stevenson was actually in attendance for Foster’s victory over Ford last weekend and stormed the ring shortly after the result was announced, sparking rumours that the American duo could be set to cross paths in the near future.
