Jake Paul has received a new challenge but it may cost a big amount for it to happen.

Paul has had a rapid rise in boxing, initially beating several former MMA fighters before then turning his attention to established professional boxers.

His first encounter with an opponent who had a winning record ended in a loss, suffering a split decision defeat to Tommy Fury, but Paul rebuilt and that set up a controversial clash with boxing legend Mike Tyson in November.

It saw Tyson back in action for the first time in nearly two decades, with the man who was once the youngest heavyweight champion in history now entering the ring at the age of 58.

It was a tough watch, with Tyson struggling to cope with an opponent over 30 years younger, as Paul won the eight two-minute round contest by unanimous decision.

Paul is still searching for his next opponent, but a former world champion who was the last fighter to share the ring with Tyson before ‘The Problem Child’ has thrown his hat into the ring.

That man is Roy Jones Jr, who had an exhibition with Tyson back in 2020, and he has revealed to Covers he would be willing to face the Youtuber-turned-boxer, but only for a large fee.

“I was the last person to fight Mike, so why would I take anything less than $20 million? Don’t waste my time.”

Jones Jr is regarded as one of the best boxers of all time, reigning at middleweight, super-middleweight, light-heavyweight and heavyweight, and also holding undisputed honours at 175lbs from 1999 to 2002.

Despite his accolades, a fight between Jones Jr and Paul seems unlikely, and instead ‘The Problem Child’ revealed who he deems to be at the front of his list.
