Derek Chisora has shared the ring with Joseph Parker and has now predicted how he will get on against Fabio Wardley.

Parker and Chisora have traded blows in two back-to-back fights back in 2021. Parker won both on the cards and since then has also beaten Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang and most recently Martin Bakole back in February. He stopped him inside two rounds, although Bakole was a late stand-in for Daniel Dubois, who fell ill late in the day.

This weekend at the O2 Arena in London, former WBO ruler Parker takes on Wardley, the ex-white collar boxer who has quickly risen through the pro ranks, and whilst speaking to The Sun Sport, fellow heavyweight contender Chisora didn’t mess around with his prediction.

“I’m going Fabio. First three rounds and he’s going to knock him out. There you go.”

Wardley is the former British and Commonwealth champion. He has fought 20 times, won 19 and 18 of them came by way of knockout, with just one draw against Frazer Clarke, which he avenged in devastating fashion with a first-round stoppage in the rematch.

Last time out against Justis Huni, it was his power that dug him out of a hole. As the fight was nearing its end, Wardley was down on all of the cards but pulled out a late stoppage to set up this contest with Parker.

Whoever comes out on top will be well placed to go on and challenge for the WBO belt currently held by two-time undisputed ruler Oleksandr Usyk.
