Retirement looms for Derek Chisora, and now the popular heavyweight has named a selection of men he’s targeting for his last ever fight.
Chisora has always been involved in hugely entertaining fights across his long and storied career. There have been 49 of them in all, and he has long said he wants to bow out on 50.
In recent times, the Londoner has hit good form with a hat-trick of unanimous decision wins over Gerald Washington, Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin. In the past, he has faced a who’s who of the division, including Joseph Parker twice, Tyson Fury three times, Dillian Whyte twice, Agit Kabayel, Carlos Takam and David Haye. His current record is 36 wins, 23 by KO and 13 losses.
Although he has never won a full world title, Chisora is currently the IBF mandatory so could be in line to face the winner of the upcoming undisputed clash between Oleksandr Usyk, who he has already lost to, and Daniel Dubois.
In a recent post on X he claims “BIG 50 fight coming soon” with a poster that includes those two men.

Also on it are Joseph Parker, the current WBO mandatory challenger who beat him on points twice in back-to-back fights in 2021, and Anthony Joshua, his long-time friend and a former two-time world heavyweight ruler.
Whoever he fights, fans can be assured that the now 41-year-old will bring his famous all-action style and leave everything on the line, as he has always done ever since turning over back in February 2007.
