Derek Chisora takes on Otto Wallin in a heavyweight battle at Co-Op Live in Manchester this evening.
Chisora heads into the fight on the back of two straight victories since his WBC heavyweight title defeat to Tyson Fury in December 2022, claiming wins over Gerald Washington and Joe Joyce to show he can still compete in the banner division despite now being 41-years-old.
Tonight he takes on Wallin, who is on a one-fight win streak since his defeat to Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia in December 2023. Wallin also took on Fury back in September 2019, losing the fight by unanimous decision but inflicting a cut on ‘The Gypsy King’ that required 47 stitches.
The bout is set to be Chisora’s final fight in the UK, with potential clashes with Deontay Wilder, Martin Bakole and Francis Ngannou all rumoured for foreign soil for number 50.
