There is certainly no love lost between generational rivals Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn.

There had been heated exchanges between the two in the build-up to their first proposed fight back in October 2022. When that was canned after Benn tested positive for a banned substance, the dislike between them only grew to new levels.

Back in April, they finally came to blows in the ring, and there was plenty of aggression across 12 entertaining rounds of boxing in which both men had periods of success. It was Eubank who came out on top, however, taking a unanimous points win.

A rematch has already been mooted for later in the year but Eubank has also long since spoken about his desire to have a second fight with Billy Joe Saunders, who narrowly beat him on points way back in 2015.

Speaking to the Diary of a CEO podcast, Eubank revealed he still cannot stand Saunders.

“There’s very few people in the sport, in the planet really, that I genuinely dislike, he is one of those people. Billy Joe is a drug cheat too. So, [I dislike] Billy Joe [more]. because not only is he a drug cheat, he is actually a real scummy human being and I don’t talk about anyone like this so if I’m saying it about him there’s a reason.

“He is a bad, bad person, a terrible advocate for the sport, just a real low life human being. I don’t say that about any of the guys I’ve fought. I’m not even saying that about Conor. Even though he cheated, he’s still somebody that I can see some of the things he does and I can see why people like him. There’s nothing to like about Billy Joe Saunders. And for that reason I would love to get my hands on him because he does have a win over me that I don’t believe he deserves.”

Two-weight world champion Saunders hasn’t fought since his knockout loss to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in 2021, but has often teased a return, and Eubank would one of the men that would motivate him.
