With a little over a week to go until their much-anticipated rematch, Conor Benn has described what it’s like to be punched by his old foe Chris Eubank Jr.

This pair of generational rivals first faced off back in April and put on a 12-round war that was hugely entertaining from the first bell until the last. Both men threw plenty of shots and though no one was put down, both were hurt at times and both had to spend a night in the hospital for observations and recovery.

It was the natural size advantage of Eubank that allowed him to get a foothold in the fight and run out a unanimous points winner after 12 rounds.

They now prepare to meet all over again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on November 15, and have now gone back and forth in a face-off interview ahead of the bout.

Speaking to DAZN, Eubank fired the first shots ahead of them meeting once more in the ring at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

“When I was 28, I’m never letting a 36-year-old man beat me it, doesn’t matter who. The fact you’re eight years younger than me and I still got done what I needed to do.”

Benn responded with an attack on Eubank’s power, or lack of.

“You’re experienced, well done, was you faster than me, stronger than me? Nah you wasn’t stronger than me. You punched like a girl. You never had me wobbled in there. You never had me wobbled. You were buckling.”

Eubank will once again be hampered by a rehydration clause that stops him putting on more than 10lbs after the weigh-in on the morning of the fight, while Benn will again be compete above his usual welterweight division.
