Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr once again appear to be on a collision course.
Eubank Jr returned to action after over a year out with a 10th round stoppage victory over Kamill Szeremeta in Saudi Arabia, but didn’t look at his total best in the bout against a game opponent.
After the fight, Benn got in the ring and was involved in a scuffle with Eubank, as the pair look to reignite their feud following their failed fight back in October 2022.
A failed drugs test for Benn meant it couldn’t take place, and he is still currently without a British license. Despite the road blocks, both men look focused on getting in the ring together, with Eubank insisting it’s what he wants next.
“Easy work. This is the fight everyone wants to see. I’m not cutting weight now. I’m 168, 170. I want you (Benn) next. Let’s do it. We’re coming for you baby.
“You reek of fear. I did my job. Sign the contract. Conor got caught and banned. His ban will be up soon. As soon as it’s up it’s on.”
Benn wasn’t impressed with the performance from Eubank, and revealed how quickly he thinks the fight would end.
“I’m so scared. After that performance you think I’m worried? I ain’t worried. I’ll jump up two weight divisions. I’ll fight you at middleweight. On my worst day. We’ll see. Let’s get the fight done. I’d have fought you tonight.
“I promise you I will chin this idiot Inside three rounds.”
While the fight is not official yet, the bad blood between the two men has been heating up in recent weeks.
