Conor Benn has watched his fight back against Chris Eubank Jr. and revealed his scorecard for their clash.
He did so by unanimous decision, after all three judges scored the fight 116-112 in his favour, handing Benn the first defeat of his professional career.
Both men were admitted to hospital as a precaution in the aftermath of the bout, but they have each now been discharged and are expected to rest and recover as the dust continues to settle.
Benn hasn’t wasted any time resuming his training after the bout though, after posting a video on social media showing he is already back in the gym and explaining how he scored the fight.
“I’m in the gym working, learning, staying in shape and staying ready. I watched the fight back, I personally had me up a point. I wouldn’t have moaned at a point either way. Four points is a bit wide in my opinion but we keep it moving. I ain’t going to cry over spilt milk.
I’ve just got to do better and work harder. Work smarter and do the best I can. We’ve got to keep it moving, I’m just getting started.”
A rematch between Benn and Eubank Jr could be set to take place later this year, but Conor’s father Nigel Benn has revealed whether or not he thinks his son should indeed take it.
