Daniel Dubois is just days away from attempting to become undisputed heavyweight champion, but a man who many consider one of the greatest of all time stands in his way.

IBF champion Dubois will collide with WBC, WBA and WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk, in order to crown just the second undisputed heavyweight champion for over 20 years.

It was Usyk himself who was the first man since Lennox Lewis in 2000 to win all the belts, with the Ukrainian defeating Tyson Fury in May 2024.

He had to vacate the IBF belt in order to fulfil the rematch with Fury, allowing Dubois to claim it and make his first defence with an emphatic fifth round knockout win over Anthony Joshua last September.

Dubois and Usyk have met previously in August 2023, with the Brit suffering a ninth round stoppage loss. Now he attempts to gain revenge over his rival on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium.

One man who knows a thing or two about being undisputed is pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford, who has been the sole ruler of both the super-lightweight and welterweight divisions during his career.

Crawford has been speaking to Ring Champs With Ak & Barak about this weekend’s heavyweight showdown, and needed just three words to make his feelings known.

“Usyk, hands down.”

Crawford has a big fight of his own to prepare for as will be attempting to be the first ever male fighter to become undisputed in a third weight class in September, when he makes the ambitious jump up to two divisions to 168lbs to take on Mexican icon Canelo Alvarez.
