Terence Crawford has become the latest big name to offer his thoughts on the Gervonta Davis vs. Jake Paul shock match-up.

It was announced last month that WBA lightweight champion Davis will take on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday 14 November, despite ‘The Problem Child’ being over 60lbs heavier than his rival.

There have been many differing opinions on the bout since it was announced, with some onlookers believing that ‘Tank’ will be far too skilful for Paul, while others believe the size difference will be the key factor in the showdown.

One man who will soon know a thing or two about dealing with a big size difference is Crawford, as he prepares to move up two weight divisions to challenge undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez next week.

Ahead of that, Crawford has been speaking about the Davis vs. Paul clash, and told the Full Send Podcast that he thinks Paul will be far too big.

“Jake is too big for Tank. In reality he’s way too big for Tank. Tank is very talented, can punch hard and is explosive. Jake can punch with that right hand. I’ve seen it up close and personal. The dude is big, he’s not as slow as people think he is and he can punch.

“Honestly I think Jake by youth. There ain’t no winner, it’s an exhibition, but Jake is too big. If they really go at it, he’s too big. Tank isn’t going to be able to get in from that jab. Jake land one good punch on Tank it’s over with.”

While it is yet to be officially announced, Paul himself has appeared to reveal the weight he must be for the showdown with Davis.
