It has been revealed exactly what Terence Crawford plans to do next after his victory over Canelo Alvarez.

Crawford pulled off the biggest win of his career on Saturday after defeating Canelo by unanimous decision at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to become the undisputed super-middleweight champion.

The triumph for ‘Bud’ after jumping up two weight divisions saw him make history as the first ever male fighter to become undisputed in three separate divisions, after already accomplishing it at super-lightweight and welterweight.

Following the win, fans immediately began to speculate about what Crawford may do next, and the American himself initially didn’t rule out the possibility of that being his final fight.

It has now been revealed whether that will be the case, after his trainer Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre revealed to Fight Hub TV that Crawford has told him he does indeed plan to fight again.

“Of course [he wants to fight again].”

McIntyre also explained what he wants ‘Bud’ to do over the next few months.

“I’d like to see him get some rest, spend some time with his family. Holidays are coming up, maybe do a little travelling, then get back in the gym and assess where he’s at after that. He’s a damn good fighter, I love working with him, if he says let’s go two, three more times, let’s go two, three more times.”

One possible option for Crawford upon his return could be to move down to middleweight in search of claiming world honours in another division, and a reigning world champion at 160lbs has already offered ‘Bud’ a title shot.
