As he continues to send shockwaves through the sport, Dana White has revealed his top four favourite fighters of all time.
After his success within the UFC, White recently made the move in to boxing where he hosted his first ever card under the Zuffa Boxing banner.
The show was headlined by unbeaten Irish prospect Callum Walsh who defeated Carlos Ocampo via unanimous decision at the conclusion of their middleweight clash in Las Vegas last month.
He held his second show the following week, featuring the likes of Jose Valenzuela and Serhii Bohachuk.
Whilst White has received criticism for his efforts in pushing forward as a boxing promoter, the UFC boss did spring a surprise when it was announced that Zuffa had signed the reigning IBF world cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia.
In footage shared on YouTube, White revealed his ‘Mount Rushmore’ of boxing as he claims his decision was made based on the ‘business side of the sport’.
“My four, and let me sort of explain myself too. I look at things from a different perspective than most people do because I look at the business side of it too. So, Muhammad Ali is my number one. Number two is Sugar Ray Robinson, my number three is Floyd Mayweather and my number four is Mike Tyson.”
White’s third boxing card is now just days away and takes place this Saturday night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Former IBF world heavyweight champion Charles Martin takes on Nigeria’s Efe Ajagba over ten rounds in the main event.
