Dave Allen has offered some insight into how the fight between Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV might play out this weekend.

Clarke is still on the rebuild after his devastating first-round loss to the now WBO world champion Fabio Wardley back in October 2024. It was a big turnaround from the first fight, which was a thrilling back-and-forth in March that ended in a draw.

Since then Clarke has beaten Ebenezer Tetteh and now takes on TKV for the vacant British heavyweight title in Derby on Saturday night. His opponent has fought 10 times, winning eight and losing twice – once to David Adeleye back in April, and once to Igor Adiel Macedo in September 2023 when he was stopped after a cut opened up due to a clash of heads.

Speaking on his own YouTube channel, fellow heavyweight Allen – who lost to Clarke in 2023 – broke down what he sees as the key battle area.

“I think it comes down to, can Frazer Clarke take TKV’s jab away? I don’t think he’ll do it like Macedo did it. I don’t see Frazer Clarke just walking him down and beating him up. I don’t see that happening. But I can see him using his experience to take it away, using his size and reach and out-jabbing him.

“I don’t think it’s going to be an easy feat. I think TKV’s jab is really good and really clever, the way he fights with it. But I just can’t see him doing it. I think Frazer will beat him on points. I think his size and experience will get him over the line.”

The pair contest the vacant British Heavyweight title at Derby’s Vaillant Live on Saturday, broadcast live on BBC Two.
