Derek Chisora has had plenty to say about Moses Itauma’s fight with Dillian Whyte.

Whyte has been largely inactive for the last three years, with just a couple of low-level fights since he missed out on a rematch with Anthony Joshua because he failed a drug test.

He was later cleared of wrongdoing when he proved the failure was down to a contaminated supplement, so now he’s back and looking to rebuild.

Itauma is a very live opponent who is just 20 years old, hotly tipped by many in the sport to go all the way and has 10 knockouts in his 12 contests so far.

Initially, Chisora had warned Whyte that it was a dangerous fight to take, and that he himself had turned down millions to face the young talent.

But now speaking to The Sun Sport, ‘Del Boy’ hinted that having seen Whyte just days out from the fight, his opinion on the outcome has changed, claiming the ‘big bad wolf is back’.

“I said Moses was going to knock him out but he didn’t like that. But we only judge a fighter by his last fight. His last fight was not great, everybody will look at that fight and look at Moses Itauma’s last fight and see the comparisons totally different.

But looking at Dillian right now, he looks in shape, mate. Seeing Dillian in shape now, I’m kind of changing my mind. Right now, he looks beautiful, he looks in amazing shape, I think the big bad wolf is back now.”

Whyte will need to be at his best to overcome the tidy, powerful and much younger Itauma. Whoever comes out on top will move closer to an all-important world title shot – a final push for Whyte or a signalling of a new heavyweight king on the scene in Itauma.
