Jake Paul is just days away from his showdown against Mike Tyson.
Youtuber-turned-boxer Paul goes up against boxing legend Tyson at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Friday 15 November, live on Netflix.
It is a fight that has caused controversy, with Tyson now being 58-years-old and having not had a professional contest for nearly two decades.
It is undoubtedly the biggest fight of Paul’s career so far, having spent the majority of it mainly taking on former UFC stars that were making the switch from MMA.
One of those men was Nate Diaz, who suffered a ten-round unanimous decision loss to Paul when they met back in in August 2023.
Diaz was dropped in the fifth round of the fight, but when asked about his Paul’s boxing ability, he needed just four words to brutally sum it up.
“He can’t really fight.”
Diaz then explained why he came to that conclusion after their bout.
“Say whatever you want, that’s fine, but then when you start making things personal and saying sh*t he shouldn’t be saying, it hurts people’s feelings when I say this ain’t a real fight.
This is not a real fight to be talking to me like that. This is a boxing competition. So that’s what I meant by he can’t really fight. It’s not overly disrespectful. If you can’t really fight, don’t be talking sh*t.”
Tommy Fury is the only man to defeat Paul inside a boxing ring, and he also needed just a few words to sum up his rival’s ability.
