Dillian Whyte recently made a comeback to the sport of boxing and is looking for big nights under the lights before he hangs up the gloves.

‘The Bodysnatcher’ has 31 wins and just three losses, with his notable victories coming over the likes of Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker. His one world title tilt – a long-awaited shot at the WBC belt – ended in six rounds via a Tyson Fury uppercut at Wembley Stadium.

Whyte had been ranked number one with the sanctioning body for some time and spent years calling for a fight with former champion Deontay Wilder. Since the American – who is coming off back-to-back losses to Parker and Zhilei Zhang – didn’t give him his shot before losing the belt to Fury, Whyte has taken every opportunity to express his dislike.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Brit labeled Wilder ‘the biggest fraud in boxing history.’

“Wilder is the biggest fraud in the history of boxing. A complete coward who avoided me for five years. He’s a disgrace and has since been exposed repeatedly. Shouldn’t he be chasing rematches with Parker and Zhang? He’s a fool and has no shame.”

Like Whyte – who was pulled from a rematch with Anthony Joshua in 2023 after he tested positive for a banned substance before later being cleared – Wilder is on the comeback trail.

Many felt his performances against Parker and Zhang showed signs that retirement was the best call, but the knockout artist from Alabama will instead take a confidence building fight in March before looking to land a big bout. He has also been mentioned alongside ‘AJ’.
