Daniel Dubois has linked back up with trainer Don Charles despite splitting just months ago.
The hard-hitting heavyweight announced that he would be parting ways with Charles following his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk last year. Together before that defeat, the pair had secured the IBF World Heavyweight title and defended it in a career-best performance against Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium.
Speaking exclusively to Seconds Out, the top trainer detailed the behind the scenes discussions that led to the reunion, answered questions about Dubois’ wider team and its influence, and looked ahead to the future for the 28-year-old former world champion.
