Eddie Hearn is perenially good value and yesterday, at the launch press conference in Newcastle for Robbie Davies Jr vs Lewis Ritson, was no exception. He graciously gave our man, Jamal Niaz, 25 minutes of his valuable time and, among a variety of intriguing subjects covered, perhaps most interesting were his comments on the recent deal with Gennady Golovkin.

Hearn emphasised that it was bringing GGG to US broadvaster DAZN that took priority over promoting the Kazakh with Matchroom.
