Edgar Berlanga and Hamzah Sheeraz go head-to-head tonight in a battle that could have big world title implications.
The two men will collide at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, each looking to make a statement that could see them become the next major contender at 168lbs.
Berlanga is looking to get back towards the top of the division following his world title bout with Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas last September, which saw the Puerto Rican suffer a unanimous decision defeat to the pound-for-pound superstar.
After a successful comeback earlier this year, Berlanga now turns his attention to Sheeraz, who is making his super-middleweight debut after spending the past few years of his career competing at 160lbs.
Last time out Sheeraz was held to a controversial draw with Carlos Adames for the WBC middleweight title, and will now attempt to make an impact in his new division by overcoming Berlanga this evening.
