Errol Spence Jr Provides Major Update On Boxing Comeback After 2 Years Out

Errol Spence finally looks set to make his long-awaited return to the ring.

‘The Truth’ is a former unified welterweight world champion, having defeated fighters such as Shawn Porter, Mikey Garcia, Yordenis Ugas and Danny Garcia to become WBC, IBF and WBA champion.

It all led to an undisputed showdown with Terence Crawford in July 2023, and despite it being viewed as a 50-50 clash, Crawford was a dominant winner, dropping Spence multiple times on his way to a ninth round stoppage victory.

Over two years later, Spence is still yet to return to action, but reports in recent months suggest that his comeback could be imminent.

‘The Truth’ has now only added to that speculation with a recent video posted of him back training in the gym, showing off his new physique that has got fans talking.

One fan posted “Glad to see him back and working. I always liked Errol Spence Jr.” That was then echoed by another, who posted “Come on Errol you got this we still here with you brother.”

It appears that there are a number of options for Spence, having been linked to a clash against former undisputed super-welterweight champion Jermell Charlo, who himself has been inactive for nearly two years.

One factor that could prevent a Spence vs. Charlo fight from happening is the fact that Charlo has also been mandated for a fight against Abass Baraou, but if recent social media activity is to be believed, it seems that Charlo may favour the fight against ‘The Truth’ instead.
