Chris Eubank Jr Sent Warning From Rumoured Next Opponent

As he prepares to make his return to the ring, Chris Eubank Jr. has been sent a stern warning by the man he is rumoured to be facing next.

The 36-year-old from Brighton was last in action back in November when he suffered a unanimous decision defeat to domestic rival Conor Benn at the conclusion of their rematch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Eubank was actually victorious in their first encounter back in April of 2025 but could not repeat this in their highly-anticipated rematch and would ultimately suffer the fourth defeat of his career at the hands of ‘The Destroyer’.

With reports suggesting that Eubank will be making a return to action later this year, the former world title challenger has been linked with a potential showdown with super-middleweight contender Edgar Berlanga Jr.

In footage shared by Fight Hub TV, Berlanga vowed to ‘smack’ Eubank Jr should he attempt to hit him with any eggs in the build-up to a potential clash, a controversial stunt that he pulled prior to his first bout with Benn last year.

“If Eubank crack a egg on me, smack him like that. He crack egg on me? Psh, smack him quick.”

Berlanga has expressed an interest in facing Eubank this year as he looks to get his own career back on track after he suffered the second defeat of his career to Hamzah Sheeraz last July.

The 28-year-old from Brooklyn previously challenged Canelo Alvarez for the unified super-middleweight titles but came up short against the Mexican superstar in September of 2024.
