Former World Champion Vows To ‘Knock Jake Paul Unconscious’ In Fight: “I Won’t Follow A Script”

Jake Paul continues to be called out by a number of big names following his win over Mike Tyson.

‘The Problem Child’ defeated boxing legend Tyson in a highly controversial match-up earlier this month, beating the 58-year-old by unanimous decision after eight two-minute rounds.

In the aftermath, both Paul and his manager have been involved in a war of words with two former British world champions in Carl Froch and Tony Bellew.

Froch has now hit back on his Froch On Fighting YouTube channel, denying claims that a fight against either of the two Brits wouldn’t do anything for Paul’s career.

“He’d get credit for being brave and jumping in with former world champions. Two fighters that could beat him. The problem is we would beat him. We’d iron him out in round one. He wouldn’t know what hit him. If we connected the fight would be over in the first minute of the first round.”

Froch also claimed that he wouldn’t follow a script in the fight, after some fans suggested that the bout between Paul and Tyson was pre-determined.

“Me and Tony wouldn’t be playing along with any script at all. We’d be in there to do one thing, and that would be to render Jake Paul unconscious, and that’s the reason he won’t come to the UK.”

Froch isn’t the only man to recently claim he would fight Paul, with Ryan Garcia revealing he would be willing to step in the ring with the Youtuber-turned-boxer under one condition.
