Former undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney is preparing to make his debut at a brand new weight class.
The 26-year-old from California is set to challenge fellow countryman and reigning WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr on Saturday November 22 at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Haney is bidding to become a three-weight world champion when he faces the hard-hitting American next month, having previously held the undisputed titles at 135lbs and the WBC world title at 140lbs.
Norman, who has emerged as one of the most exciting fighters in the sport over the last 12 months, extended his unbeaten record to 28-0 back in June when he blasted out Japanese challenger Jin Sasaki in the fifth round of their showdown in Tokyo.
As he prepares to make his long-awaited return to the ring, Haney has been putting in the hard work behind the scenes and was recently captured hitting the pads just weeks away from his clash with Norman.
